Terms of service

Last updated November 3, 2026

These terms are the agreement between Rebate Ready Proposals (“we” or “us”) and the contractor using our services (“you”). By sending us a job, or by accepting these terms at checkout, you agree to them. They continue until either of us ends them.

1. What we provide

  • Proposals. From the job information you send, we prepare a draft homeowner proposal for a heat pump project in your branding. It typically includes the recommended system, estimated rebate and loan figures, an estimated heating cost comparison, the homeowner’s next steps, and answers to common questions.
  • Turnaround. We aim to deliver each draft within 24 hours of receiving complete job information. This is a target, not a guarantee. If something we need is missing, we will ask you, and the clock starts once we have it.
  • Plan extras. If you are on a monthly plan, we also provide the extras listed for that plan in Section 5.
  • Not exclusive. We may provide the same service to other contractors, including contractors in your area.

2. Your review and responsibilities

  • You approve everything. Every proposal is a draft until you approve it. You are responsible for reviewing it and for anything you send to your customers.
  • Your information. Proposals rely on the information you provide. You are responsible for its accuracy.
  • Your work. You remain responsible for system design, sizing, equipment selection, pricing, permits, installation, and following all laws, licensing and program rules that apply to your business.
  • Customer information. You confirm you’re allowed to share the customer information you send us. We use it only on your behalf, as described in Section 4.

3. Estimates and Mass Save

  • Rebate, loan, cost and savings figures in proposals are estimates based on program rules and assumptions at the time they are written. They are not guarantees.
  • Mass Save and its sponsoring utilities decide final rebate eligibility and amounts. We do not guarantee any rebate, loan approval, savings or sale.
  • We are not affiliated with Mass Save or any utility.

4. Your customers’ information and your business information

  • We use the information you send only to provide our services to you.
  • We do not sell it, and we never share your customers, jobs or pricing with other contractors.
  • We use a small number of service providers to run the service, including cloud storage, email, forms, payments and AI tools that help draft proposal wording. They process information only to provide their service to us.
  • We take reasonable steps to keep information secure.
  • We delete job files, including homeowner details and photos, 12 months after a proposal is delivered, or sooner if you ask in writing. We keep billing records as long as the law requires.

  • Ownership. Once a proposal is approved and paid for, you may use it however you like. We keep our templates, methods and general wording, and we never reuse your customers’ information.
  • Changes. Changes to this agreement must be agreed in writing, and email counts. If we update this page, the new version applies to purchases made after the update.
